The Hounds travelled to Logan Brothers for a late afternoon clash and came away with a convincing 38–14 victory.
The boys dominated the early stages of the game, controlling possession, winning the field position battle and putting Logan under pressure from the opening whistle. Our attack looked sharp and we were able to convert our opportunities into points, building a strong lead.
A key moment came when Sep was sent to the sin bin, leaving the Hounds a man down. During this period our defence was heavily tested, but the boys dug deep and turned up for one another, showing plenty of resilience and determination to keep Logan at bay.
There were strong performances right across the park. Tonga Moʻunga, George Hutch and Samual Fyln were all outstanding, making important contributions with both the ball and in defence. It was also fantastic to welcome Sam back after spending the past year sidelined with an ACL injury. His return was a huge boost for the team and it was great to see him back out on the field in Hounds colours.
Brady McIntyre continued his strong form, proving reliable with the boot and converting his opportunities to help keep the scoreboard ticking over.
Overall, it was a complete team performance and a well-deserved result on the road. The boys should be proud of the effort, with a 38–14 win sending the Hounds home happy.
