The Hounds put in a strong performance against Capalaba Warriors, with both sides battling hard throughout the contest. Defensively, the boys showed plenty of grit and resilience, working hard for each other and defending strongly throughout the game.
In the end, Capalaba were able to capitalise through their size and power, scoring several tough tries on the edges. Despite this, the Hounds responded with some exciting attacking football, scoring through speed, sharp line breaks and well-executed team plays.
Nathan and Nicky Low were standouts for the Hounds, both putting in strong performances and leading the way with their effort and intensity.
Although the result didn’t go our way, the boys never stopped competing and continued to fight until the final whistle.
Final Score: Hounds 22 – Capalaba Warriors 36
Special thanks to Jenny for always looking after the boys, especially over the Mother’s Day weekend. Your support never goes unnoticed.
